Prioritizer

The prioritizer lets you rank projects by how well they contribute to a list of goals. Each project is assigned a score for each goal and goals can be weighted by importance.

 

Projects can be selected from the ranked list and then placed on a timeline. The timeline automatically tracks available funds and project sequencing requirements and shows flags when it detects a problem.

Finally - Google Street View on a College Campus!

Google Street View gives us an unprecedented ability to understand what spaces feel like on the ground (while providing the context of a map). Until now, college campuses have appeared as large holes in the Street View data. Over the past few months, Google bikes have been spotted traversing a number of college campus, and just this week, Google finally added their first campus to Street View: San Diego State University (SDSU).

Stimulus funds + Community Colleges

With our recent work at Lorain Community College and in the Massachusetts community colleges, this NY Times opinion piece caught my eye.  The Stimulus package includes $12 billion plan aimed at producing 5 million more community college grads by 2020. The logic of the targeted funding appeals to me: an emphasis on education and a sector that has been long ignored.  Mr.read more
