Figuring out lotting for residential districts can be a tedious process that usually involves a great deal of drawing and counting by hand. As a single-pass, linear exercise its tolerable, but when the client pushes back on the numbers and you have to tweak the plan through  a number of iterations, it can be a very time-consuming exercise.

Housing for First Generation college students

This article discusses a housing program for First Generation college students at University of Cincinnati.

 

It's unclear what particular design elements might be helpful to promote the programming component. Seems like dorm-style accommodations, but with spaces for seminar rooms and common gathering space. Also the structure is not very big - just 20 students? So there could be a series of these modules, sprinkled around more standard housing.
