Colleges and Universities are examining their real estate portfolios that have grown exponentially over the last ten years. Harvard University built 3.2 million square feet of new space between 1980 and 2000, then added an additional 6.2 million square feet at a cost of $4.3 billion from 2000 through 2008. Ohio State University now has a total of 18.7 million square feet in its portfolio on the main campus in Columbus, Ohio.read more
